Falak brings the movement of Enlightened Harmony into a separate layering piece. Printed silk organza forms an attached hood, a short open bolero front and voluminous puff sleeves, while the long, sweeping back creates a cape-like silhouette.
Fabric and design
Printed silk organza with a sheer finish. The inky blue and grey palette carries luminous warm-toned swirls, fine geometric lines and calligraphic motifs. The cropped front leaves the inner outfit visible; the full-length back provides the drama and movement.
What is included
This listing is for the Falak hooded bolero abaya only. The plain ivory inner dress, head covering, footwear and other styling accessories are not included. This is a sheer layering piece and requires an inner outfit.
Size and length
Available in Small, Medium and Large. Select your size, then enter your preferred finished length in inches in the Note / Any Special Requests field before adding to your bag. You may also leave your height to help us confirm the length with you.
Print placement
Each piece is cut from different areas of the same printed fabric, so the position of the motifs may vary from the photographs. The fabric and overall colour palette remain the same.
Complete the look
Style with the Asal Sleeveless Linen Tunic and Raah Linen & Silk Harem Trousers, or purchase all three pieces together as Enlightened Harmony.
Image information
Model images are digitally styled using the original garment photographs as references. The medium-build model is an illustrative visualisation, not a measurement-based fit guide or confirmation that a real model is wearing size Medium. Colour may vary slightly with lighting and screen settings.
Body size reference
Body measurements in centimetres Size Bust (cm) Natural waist (cm) Full hip (cm) Small 84–88 66–70 92–96 Medium 88–92 70–74 96–100 Large 92–96 74–78 100–104 These are body measurements, not laid-flat garment widths or finished garment measurements. Length is requested separately. The original silhouette and its intended ease are retained. If your measurements fall on a size boundary or across different sizes, ask us to check the fit.
Personal measurements
If you would like us to check your fit using your own measurements, select one of the available size options and enter the relevant measurements below in the Note / Any Special Requests field before adding to your bag. State whether every value is in centimetres or inches. Any personal-fit adjustment is subject to confirmation before cutting.
Provide body measurements, not another garment's flat widths. Do not add extra looseness allowance; the atelier will assess the design's ease. Enter desired finished lengths separately. Shoulder and sleeve dimensions are taken personally, not assumed from a standard S–L sleeve chart.
Body measurements to provide
- Full bust circumference
- Natural waist circumference
- Full hip circumference
- Shoulder width: shoulder tip to shoulder tip across the back
- Upper-arm circumference at the fullest part
- Wrist circumference
- Arm length: shoulder tip to wrist, with the elbow slightly bent
Also provide your height without shoes. For a floor-length piece, tell us the heel height you plan to wear.
Finished length and design details
- Requested short front length: high shoulder point to front hem
- Requested long back length: corresponding high shoulder point to back hem
The cropped bolero front, puff sleeves and full-length back retain their original shape.
How to measure
- Measure over the undergarments you normally wear, with a soft tape comfortably snug, not tight. Keep circumference measurements level.
- Bust: around the fullest part. Natural waist: where the body bends at the waist. Full hip: around the fullest part of the hips and seat.
- Circumferences are full measurements around the body, never half-widths. Shoulder width is across the back from shoulder tip to shoulder tip.
- Arm length starts at the shoulder tip, not at the neck. Keep the elbow slightly bent. Dress and top lengths start at the high shoulder point beside the base of the neck; trouser and skirt lengths start at the top of the intended waistband.
- Use one unit throughout and label it cm or inches. If a measurement is unclear, contact us rather than guess.
