Kasavu gold cord piping traces every one of the 12 panel seams, so when the skirt turns, the gold draws a full circle around the body.A Kasavu border at the hem grounds the silhouette in its South Indian craft heritage. Over 40 hours of hand work per skirt — the hand embroidery alone accounts for 40 of those hours.This is the piece the collection turns around.
