Description
Aahang brings two contrasting fabrics together in a fluid, sleeveless layer. The printed silk front opens into soft waterfall folds, while the long blue back carries the handwork that gives this piece its character.
Front and back are different
The front has a dark ground with large gold-toned abstract and calligraphic printed shapes, with red, teal and blue accents. The contrasting blue-patterned back features calligraphic hand embroidery and geometric detailing. These are the front and back of one jacket, not two colour options.
Cut and details
A full-length sleeveless jacket with an open waterfall front, side pockets and a lower centre-back opening for movement. The jacket has no hood or sleeves. Any sleeves seen beneath it belong to the separate inner outfit.
What is included
This listing is for the Aahang jacket only. The plain ivory inner dress, hijab, top, pants, neck scarf, footwear and other styling accessories are not included.
Size and length
Available in Small, Medium and Large. Select your size, then enter your preferred finished length in inches in the Note / Any Special Requests field before adding to your bag. You may also leave your height to help us confirm the length with you.
Print placement
Printed sections are cut from different areas of the same fabric, so motif positions may vary from the photographs. The fabric and overall colour palette remain the same.
The hand embroidery is worked individually; small variations are part of its handmade character. The detail photograph shows the actual garment handwork.
Complete the look
Layer over the Navaa Cowl Hooded Linen Top with the Ravaan Linen & Silk Harem Pants, or shop the Harmonious complete look.
Image information
Model images are digitally styled from the original garment photographs, using an illustrative medium-build model. They are not a measurement-based fit guide. Colour may vary slightly with lighting and screen settings. The embroidery close-up is cropped from the original garment photograph; its stitches have not been digitally redrawn.
Body size reference
Body measurements in centimetres Size Bust (cm) Natural waist (cm) Full hip (cm) Small 84–88 66–70 92–96 Medium 88–92 70–74 96–100 Large 92–96 74–78 100–104 These are body measurements, not laid-flat garment widths or finished garment measurements. Length is requested separately. The original silhouette and its intended ease are retained. If your measurements fall on a size boundary or across different sizes, ask us to check the fit.
Personal measurements
If you would like us to check your fit using your own measurements, select one of the available size options and enter the relevant measurements below in the Note / Any Special Requests field before adding to your bag. State whether every value is in centimetres or inches. Any personal-fit adjustment is subject to confirmation before cutting.
Provide body measurements, not another garment's flat widths. Do not add extra looseness allowance; the atelier will assess the design's ease. Enter desired finished lengths separately. Shoulder and sleeve dimensions are taken personally, not assumed from a standard S–L sleeve chart.
Body measurements to provide
- Full bust circumference
- Full hip circumference
- Shoulder width: shoulder tip to shoulder tip across the back
Also provide your height without shoes. For a floor-length piece, tell us the heel height you plan to wear.
Finished length and design details
- Requested finished length: high shoulder point beside the base of the neck to the desired hem
Tell us whether you plan to wear a light or thicker inner layer. This jacket is sleeveless; sleeves in the photographs belong to the inner dress.
How to measure
- Measure over the undergarments you normally wear, with a soft tape comfortably snug, not tight. Keep circumference measurements level.
- Bust: around the fullest part. Natural waist: where the body bends at the waist. Full hip: around the fullest part of the hips and seat.
- Circumferences are full measurements around the body, never half-widths. Shoulder width is across the back from shoulder tip to shoulder tip.
- Arm length starts at the shoulder tip, not at the neck. Keep the elbow slightly bent. Dress and top lengths start at the high shoulder point beside the base of the neck; trouser and skirt lengths start at the top of the intended waistband.
- Use one unit throughout and label it cm or inches. If a measurement is unclear, contact us rather than guess.
